Hello all! I don't need to say that we've been busy, I'm sure you can just assume that by now, am I right? Either way- I am blogging! (And getting so close to catching up, that I can taste it!) This is Matt & Brittany. We shot their wedding in August in Coldwater- but we took a little trip down memory lane for their engagement session. At least, for David and I, it was a trip down memory lane. Back when we were just kids, and we had started dating- our thing was to go take nature photos together (this was like 15 years ago!). Flowers, and bird, and critters, whatever we came across. The occasional photo we took of each other. (I still hated having my picture taken then, so there aren't very many.) But we frequented the Slayton Arboretum in Hillsdale, Michigan- since way back then. And since these two live in the area- and we hadn't ever had the opportunity to do a people shoot there- it seemed the ideal place. Some of these shots are also from running around downtown Hillsdale.
