Just a small recap- in case you missed the first part of this wedding posted on the blog (here). Jacqui and Joe asked us to be their St. Lucia destination wedding photographers- we said yes- awesomeness ensued. We flew to St. Lucia in mid June and shot their awesome wedding at St. James Club Morgan Bay. Jacqui and Joe had their Best Day Ever, and we were there to be their photographers. We made life long friends and had an awesome time with awesome people. So, here is part two of their St. Lucia wedding photography, by DaveTree Photography. After the ceremony, we had a quick break for lunch- and it was delicious. Look at that beaming Bride.
There were many cold washcloths throughout the day- it was HOT.
Then we HAD to take a short break in the air conditioned rooms at St. James Club Morgan Bay. It was so hot. So we headed there and got some more cold washcloths.
Then Jacqui, Joe, David, and I headed out for some one on one two-on-two portrait time.
Then we ran for cover as another short little rain came in.
The nice thing about having a leisurely timeline is that you can go poolside for a few hours in between portraits and dinner!
After lounging a bit- we met back up with Jacqui and Joe for an epic Caribbean sunset session before going to dinner.
Another awesome tidbit about Jacqui and Joe's wedding- the world experienced the first full honey moon in 100 years on their wedding day, Friday, June 13, 2014. It appeared golden and huge in the sky, but was too obscured by trees to get a clear shot of it huge and golden, but we got it after it had risen a ways. The next time we will get a honey moon on a Friday the 13th won't happen until June 13th, 2098. (The last one happened aaaaall the way back on June 13th, 1919).
Congratulations you lovebirds! :)
