Drew & Sam were married on a bright sunny, cloudless day in Birch Run, Michigan- and Kalamazoo wedding photographers DaveTree Photography were there to capture every second of it. This is a shortened version of their wedding day in images:
A creative way to incorporate a loved one who has passed before your wedding:
Sam had so many great DIY wedding ideas. One of which was to use this room divider as the place card directory. She used pain swatches in her wedding colors to write on, fold and stick in the divider. It was a super neat DIY wedding idea. Another one was to recycle old glass jars of all sizes, and they made all of the candles for their tables and at the reception! A lot of the decor elements were recycled making this a pretty green wedding!
They also made their table numbers out of a scrap of wood, painted and then, with nails stuck in, they wrapped yarn to create the numbers. Another cute DIY wedding idea!
The cake topper was also "recycled"- it is a family heirloom.
Running with the idea of the table numbers- they also made their own bride and groom seat markers! Really great idea- and an easy do it yourself wedding project.
We wish you many happy years Sam & Drew! Thank you for the privilege of shooting your wedding!
