Jason and Amiee (and their wedding party) were a riot to work with! These two are quick-witted and fun- as well as very caring for their families. Their Hillsdale wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the most beautiful fall day- at Stocks Park, underneath two looming trees. The sun shown through the fall leaves and cast the most warm golden hue on the ceremony- it was kind of magical! We visited a few different spots for photos, including a chapel in Jonesville and the arboretum in Hillsdale, the old train station- and their reception was at a nearby center. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weather situation for their big day!
The ladies' day started at the little white church in Jonesville, MI.
Then we moved to some vacant woods lot for Jason and Amiee to have their special reveal for their Hillsdale wedding day - it was a super sweet moment and calmed everyone's nerves.
After everyone's nerves were calmed- it was photo time! We adventured with the wedding party around Hillsdale as Jason and Amiee's Hillsdale wedding photographers.
Sometimes, even if you plan enough time for portraits on your wedding day, it can feel too short when you're having fun! I feel like it was a good balance on Jason and Amiee's wedding day- though I always like to make sure to take our time, so our couples can be as fresh as possible for the ceremony. After portraits, we headed to Stocks Park to get them hitched!
We don't normally share a lot of photos of receptions, but I had to share a few of their amazing cakes! The grooms cake had actual bottles on it- made out of sugar- that he ate a big chunk out of one! It was so cool!
