Jacqui and Joe are two of our favorite people. They are so funny and mellow all at the same time- and they are definitely made for each other. We had so much fun being their St. Lucia wedding photographers this summer (post coming soon!) and our visits are always epic in some way. We squeezed their engagement shoot in over the few afternoon daylight hours in January in Michigan. Michiganders understand the lack of sunlight in the winter issues that we have- so we had to hurry and make the most of our hours! We grabbed their fur babies and got some really fun images with the whole family, hit up Corner Records (now Satellite Records)to get out of the cold and utilize a music lovers play place for some of part the shoot (some of my all time favorite images, and then headed downtown Kalamazoo. One thing I will say for January in Michigan though- it tends to have some pretty amazing sunsets.
